Madame Jehane Benoit’s Retro Delight of the 40’s

Ingredients

  • 3 cups/ 750mL Dainty Royal Rice, cooked
  • 1 cup/ 250mL Crushed Pineapple, drained
  • ½ Orange, zested
  • ½ Lemon, zested & juiced
  • 1 ½ cups/ 375mL Miniature Marshmallows
  • 1 Ripe Banana, diced
  • 4 tbsp/ 60mL Icing Sugar
  • 1 cup/ 250mL Whipped Cream

Preparation

Combine in a bowl the cooked Dainty Royal rice, pineapple, orange and lemon zest, lemon juice, marshmallows, banana and icing sugar.

Mix well and fold in the whipped cream.

Pour into a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 6 to 12 hours.
