Rice cooker Cumin Spiced Rajah basmati rice

A Dainty side-dish favorite, sure to spark your appetite with its delicious aroma.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup/ 250mL Dainty Rajah Basmati blend rice
  • 1 whole Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 green Cardamom Pods
  • 4 whole Cloves
  • 1 tbsp/ 15mL Cumin Seeds
  • ½ tsp/ 2.5mL Salt
  • 2 tbsp/ 30mL Butter
  • Fresh mint to garnish

Preparation

Place all ingredients, except the dill, in a rice cooker, or in pot on stovetop.

Cover with 1 1/2 cups/ 375ml water. Cook.

When done, remove spices and garnish with chopped mint.
